Position Summary:
Provides the expertise of a seasoned water and wastewater engineer to conventional aspects of functional area and applies advanced concepts and techniques to unconventional engineering problems, working under the supervision of a technical or program manager. May function as client manger, project manager, design manager, individual researcher or technical specialist. Market new clients and project opportunities with existing clients. Opportunity to grow and lead a water and wastewater practice. Upholds engineering ethics and standards of conduct.


Must Have:
- 7-10+ years experience with water wastewater plant design
- Florida P.E.
- Bachelors and Masters degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering (Masters can be MBA)
- Experience managing a group of 5 professionals at minimum
- Water treatment plant design 1mgd-15mgd
- Ability to balance projects and management, remain on task and keep the office moving forward while providing professional development opportunities for staff
- Detail oriented-know the ins and outs of every project: timeline, budget, stage of project, review drawings, make suggestions for improvement
- Proven record of business development, the ability to get new clients as well as repeat and long-term business relationships
- Strong leadership skills: the ability to manage the office, mentor and train staff, and produce business development opportunities
- Background working in water wastewater plants of 1-15+mgd-working with city officials, owners, contractors, permitting process, design, contract preparation
- Ability to make decisions that will yield positive results
- Travel within 50 mile radius of office location


Should Have:
- Knowledge of Florida market
- Project and client list representative of water wastewater plant design (projects ranging from 5-15+M in construction costs
- Experience serving as a lead engineer for multiple water wastewater plants and/or treatment facilities within the past five years
- Very driven, self motivated, entrepreneur 
- Desire to live in either Orlando or Jacksonville
