 Job Description

 

The candidate will take a primary role in designing and implementing verification strategy for new functionality in wireless networking designs.  Leadership role possible for candidate with more experience.  Essential responsibilities of the position include: 

 

? Evaluate verification requirements through understanding of systems-level architecture

? Develop and implement comprehensive verification strategies including creation of test plans, design and implementation of new testbenches including supporting scripts, and development of equivalent behavioral models

? Supervision of test plan execution

 

 

Requirements

 

? Experience with multiple ASIC verification projects including creation of test plans, implementation of testbenches, and writing of support scripts and behavioral models

? Strong understanding of verification methodologies including random-vector generation, assertion-based verification, functional verification, and code coverage

? Strong working knowledge of C, Perl, Verilog including PLI, VHDL, code coverage and simulation tools

? Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills

? 2-10+ years experience with BSEE or MSEE

 

 Additional desirable experience

 

? Familiarity with 802.11 MAC functionality, QoS, encryption algorithms (WEP, TKIP, AES), and/or 802.11 baseband signal processing

? Demonstrated technical leadership skills
