MISSION
SUMMARY

This individual will be responsible for working closely with Alliance Partners to define and develop services and services support programs. This individual will initially function as the project/product manager responsible for developing APC service support for alliance partners. In this role he/she will be the primary interface to work with APC operational services managers to develop and ensure delivery of required capabilities for technical training, remote support, on-site assistance, and spares availability. Additional responsibility include developing business plan for specified services with applicable revenue forecasts and expenses and manage the project to the accepted plan.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

Define and negotiate with APC services organizations to provide three phase and cooling products service and support commitments to and with Alliance Partner. These functional areas include: telephone support, training, logistics support for partners and determining expenses related to these efforts. Work with alliance partner to jointly develop project requirements and project plan. Respond to queries concerning services intentions, capabilities, and processes. Manage two-company project related ConCalls and meetings to drive resolution of contractual commitments to and with partners. Manage and modify, as necessary, existing alliance services programs for quality and operational execution., primarily for single phase products. Participate in sales teams, working to engage partner to provide services for three phase and cooling products prior to official launch of services associated with these products. Agree on services requirements and project implementation with customer/partner and ensure proper execution. Drive formal internal and two company (APC and Alliance Partner) project meetings and reviews which will include both operational and business objectives, results, and action plan QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree, preferably in the Engineering or Technology field

A minimum or 5 years product/ project management experience within high tech required with a focus on either services or product.

Experience in working directly with major customers or partners utilizing strong persuasion or influencing skills required.

Ability to work with multiple business partners with different work cultures essential. .

Ability to obtain support and commitments without direct authority necessary.

APC work experience for understanding of products, and services organizational responsibilities, or knowledge thereof, highly desired

Knowledge of Lotus Notes, EMAIL, Excel, Powerpoint

Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 15-20 percent of the time.
