Site Electrical Engineer

Seeking a highly motivated Electrical (POWER) engineer to join the Facilities Engineering group. As the site electrical engineer you would be responsible for the planning & engineering for site electrical system upgrades & for laboratory projects. You will be responsible for taking a project from initial concept & working closely with safety, environmental, operations, A&E firms, construction managers & contractors to deliver cost effective projects on planned schedules. You will be required to perform electrical analyses for lab owners on power requirements for new equipment, to make decisions on where power will be tapped from, to plan & implement utility upgrades, to monitoring building loads & to recommend & implement system upgrades. You will utilize your engineering skills in the development and analysis of energy and utility conservation initiatives. Major Field of Study: Electrical Engineering with concentration in Power. Qualified applicants should have in-depth knowledge and experience with Facilities Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Strong Communication Skills, proven Teamwork and Leadership skills in addition to Construction Knowledge.
