Software Applications Engineer for DekoCast GUI

Job Description: Position Summary: Designs, implements, debugs and maintains real-time digital video, graphics and audio processing application software on WinTel desktop computer platforms. Primarily responsible for implementing graphical user interfaces for effects creation. Consult with other UI experts in the company to maintain a consistent company wide look and feel. The Software Applications Engineer reports to the Applications Engineering Manager and has no direct reports.

- Estimate Job Scope and Duration
- Software Maintenance
- Review Test Procedures

- BSEE/CS degree or equivalent and 4 years of software engineering experience
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design experience
- Object Oriented Programming experience and C++ Fluent
- Proven record of completing projects on-time and to specification
- Experience writing high performance Wintel applications
- MFC, Visual C++ experience and expertise

Desired Job Requirements:

- MSEE/CS degree or equivalent and 3 years of experience
- Video, Graphics and Audio processing experience
