Skills and Responsibilites

Extensive experience with SQL Server including the ability to:

- perform complex joins

- trigger creation/management

- linked server environment

- cross database queries

- manage data transfers using ODBC, web services, and ETL Tool

management

- design database architectures and data transfer services to support

web applications

Knowledge of SQL Server 2000 necessary

Desired Skills:

- Oracle 10G is a plus.

- Programming language experience is a must and must be willing to learn

.NET to support existing and future applications in support of the data

store we currently have in place.

- Also beneficial if the applicant has knowledge of XML, WSDL, Net, Java,

ETL tools such as Business Intelligence Data Integrator or knowledge of

other ETL tools.

High priority will be given to applicants with existing knowledge of Navy

or other DoD configuration, modernization, and readiness databases such

as NDE-NM, CDMD-OA, and TRMS.

Ability to obtain a government security clearance is required.
