Opportunity

A dynamic technology focused engineering company located in West Chester, PA, we seek an enthusiastic and innovative software engineer to join a team developing an exciting, evolving wireless sensor network product line.  The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding and validating a sensor-based inference engine using algorithms that work within the constraints of a low power embedded processor environment.

 

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and take ownership for embedded software development and maintenance.  Participate in all phases of development from definition and design through implementation, debugging and testing.  Implement analytical approaches to interrogate real-time data from an array of sensorsCode real-time embedded proces in CWork closely with team members on system design and integration issuesParticipate in field problem and failure investigations, leading to closure of a root cause analysis including definition and implementation of corrective actions

 

Qualifications5+ years programming experience.  Embedded C experience highly desirable.  Demonstrated experience delivering a successful product from gestation to delivery. Familiarity with TinyOS and Zigbee a plusStrong analytical and quantitative skillsStrong customer satisfaction mindsetExcellent communication and teamwork skillsBachelor of Science in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
