Eaton Corporation located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota has an opening for a Specialist - in Product Engineering.

The essential function of this position will be to lead the design and development of pumps, motors and other hydraulic components and systems for mobile and industrial fluid power applications. Duties will include managing development projects, performing engineering analysis calculations, layout design work in Pro-E, developing and executing test plans, conducting hardware failure analysis and mentoring other engineers. Other activities will include providing technical support to customers and design support for current products. A "hands-on" approach is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the design and development of hydraulic pumps, motors or related products for the fluid power, aerospace, automotive, truck or mobile equipment industries. Must have experience leading design and development teams. Possess a working knowledge of dynamic systems, statistics, metallurgy, failure analysis techniques and professional testing practices. Must be competent with Pro-E and familiar with FEA tools (ANSYS). Must be highly motivated and possess strong communication and project management skills. Familiarity with SSDD tools is considered a plus.

Education Requirement: B.S in Mechanical Engineering. M.S. preferred.
