Senior Scientist/Air Monitoring Practice Leader

 



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Serve as The Company's practice leader for all perimeter air monitoring, vapor intrusion and indoor air quality projects.Develops and implements  The Company's technical standards and training and monitoring the quality of work produced by the staff. Review/edit/guide work plan and reports prepared by others. Plan and guide development of business in the air monitoring/vapor intrusion field.Provide regulatory expertise in the states of MA, CT, NY and NJ, EPA and other states that have promulgated vapor intrusion regulations. Oversee all of the Long Island risk services work focusing on vapor intrusion.Increase  The Company's visibility in the market and grow revenue and market share in air related services as they complement our existing practice.
Interface with and provide support to  The Company's projects involving environmental assessments, remediation and risk evaluations.


Provides expertise in the possibility of business acquisition for our air monitoring and vapor intrusion practices. Maintains advanced/current knowledge of new developments in the industry and government regulations. Develops and facilitates training for clients and co-workers on issues related to air monitoring and vapor intrusion in addition to speaking engagements at engineer training and information sessions.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS/EDUCATION
Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or ten to fifteen years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of five years doing business development. Willingness to travel on temporary assignments as needed. You can work in our New York,New Jersey or CT Location.
