Sr. Application Specialist

Description: This position is located in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities include review of customer specifications to find suitable product offerings and recommendations. Individual will have responsibility for and be the internal focal point of sales and technical support to a broad range of products and customers. The position will coordinate information directly with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management. Individual will respond directly to customer questions and formulate technical support materials while managing multiple concurrent deadlines.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of API 6A, 608, 598, 6D, ASME B16.34, ASME B16.5, ASME B&PC, ISO 10497, PED specifications is required. 2-5 years specifying valves, including ball valves, butterfly valves, plug valves, chokes, check valves, gate valves, and actuators. Individual should possess a working knowledge of the materials of construction and their suitability for different types of service. Background in valve design preferred. Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred.
