As CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer Associate you will be responsible for assisting Quality Engineers in the design and development of inspection methods, including procedures, gauging, and programming of CMMs. Position will primarily be responsible for first article inspections utilizing manual measurement techniques and programming of CMMs to assure product quality on new and existing products. This position works with Quality Control, Product Development, and Manufacturing Departments in planning for quality and resolving quality problems related to products and processes for gauging and measurement.
You will need:
As a CMM Programmer / Quality Engineering Associate CMM programming experience with latest revisions of PCDMIS required. > Must also have experience with GD&T, first article layout inspections and CAD (preferably Unigraphics). Ideal candidates will also have proficieny in the following Professional/Technical competencies: Critical Analysis, Personal Effectiveness, and Teamwork.
In addition to the above, As CMM Programmer / Quality Engineering Associate I you will also need: >Four (4) years experience programming automated measuring equipment. >Without degree, candidate must have six (6) years experience programming automated measuring equipment.
In addition to the above, as Sr. CMM Programmer / Sr. Quality Engineering Associate you will also need: Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience programming automated measuring equipment or relevant associate's degree in engineering/technical discipline, plus five (5) years experience programming automated measuring equipment. Without degree, candidate must have seven (7) years of experience programming automated measuring equipment.
