About your role?

As Sr. Civil Engineer, you would be responsible for a broad range of civil engineering projects, handling the design and specification of various civil infrastructures from sanitary and sewage systems to transportation and environmental systems.  Your specific responsibilities would include:Working on multiple civil engineering projects simultaneously (including projects related to hydraulics, transportation, environmental, sanitary and sewer design)
Collaborating with designers on projects
Directing the junior staff members
Planning and profiling street and storm drainage systems design
Developing project manuals (design and specifications) for construction projects
Utilizing knowledge of erosion prevention and sediment control to grade construction sites
Providing plans for construction zone traffic control

What kind of candidate are we looking for?



Professional Engineer certification is required, as well as demonstrated experience in the broad-based design of civil infrastructures (including roads, drainage, sanitary, water systems, sewers, etc.). Municipal engineering experience is preferred, as is erosion prevention and sediment control experience. A working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) standards is ideal. A Master?s degree is preferred.
