Job Responsibilities: 

The Xilinx DSP Division is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who will have immediate responsibility for the testing of our leading edge DSP tools. Primary responsibilities will be the testing of high quality software that generates DSP hardware from both MATLAB and Simulink (System Generator) models. Responsibilities will include software testing of simulation, code generation and behavioral synthesis tools, user interfaces, DSP algorithms, as well as test harness script development, functional test generation, and verification of fixed defects.

 

Job Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science with at least two years experience (or equivalent), knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink or Stateflow, scripting skills in MATLAB, TCL, Perl and/or Python, a working knowledge of C++, and excellent verbal and communication skills and proficiency in the delivery of presentations

 

Understanding of DSP design fundamentals and experience in implementing HDL designs in an FPGA highly preferred.
