Job Description*
Development engineer responsible for the conceptualization, design and qualification of ruggedized, lightweight composite connectors and related hardware for Military and Aerospace markets. Will work closely with customers, sales, product management, advanced manufacturing, model shop and test lab in a simultaneous engineering environment. Will assist in the investigation and qualification of next-generation molding and metallization processes. Will be responsible for meeting performance and cost objectives and for coordinating projects from design through prototype, test and transfer.

Education and Experience Requirements*
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, with minimum 5 years experience in product design and manufacturing. Broad knowledge of interconnect product and applications preferred, as is proficiency with Pro Engineer, engineering design and analysis tools and effective communication skills. Experience with ruggedized, lightweight connectors is desirable.
