Sr. Diffusion/CVD Process Engineer (TI/KA)

This position involves sustaining and development of advanced oxidation and wafer cleaning processes. An in-depth understanding of diffusion, oxidation, wafer cleaning and device physics is required. Working knowledge of PECVD and Metallization processes is also required. Job responsibilities include: Creating new processes using design of experiments (DOE) Qualification of new tools Improving process robustness using techniques such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Developing and monitoring statistical process control (SPC) metrics to improve quality Root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementation of permanent corrective actions Contributing to yield improvement programs Writing operating specifications

Requirements/Qualifications: Applicants must have a minimum BS degree (MS preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with a minimum 5 years experience in Diffusion/CVD. Experience with 8" processes is preferred. Applicant must have intimate knowledge of design of experiments DOE) and statistical process control (SPC). In addition to technical excellence, this position requires superb communication, time management, and team skills.
