Sr Eng, Aero/Thermal

Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.

Engineer capable of supporting multiple aspects of gas turbine engine aerodynamic design and analysis. Ideal candidate would have demonstrated aerodynamic design abilities including new product conceptual design and problem solving, ability to perform basic aerodynamic analysis, including CFD. Ideal candidate would be creative, energetic, and eager to apply and expand their engineering skills. Familiarity with gas turbine engine fundamentals, fluid dynamics of both sub-sonic and supersonic flow, and commercial CFD (CFX & FLUENT) software is desired. Experience with impellers, vane diffusers, and Inlet Guide Vanes aerodynamic components design preferred. Knowledge of CFD theory and turbulence model a plus.
Candidate must be proficient in use of common PC software packages, UNIX (SUN) environment, FORTRAN/C+ and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical information.

BSME, MSME, or comparable.

2-7 years gas turbine or similar field fluid dynamics design/analysis.
