Cordis Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson company and a worldwide leader in circulatory disease management, is seeking a motivated and accountable Research Fellow to join our quest in defeating vascular disease. The individual will be working with engineers to develop new device concepts and translate them into functional prototypes. Responsibilities will include further development of these concepts through design freeze to design verification and validation. Must be familiar with operating standard laboratory equipment used to evaluate the device functionality.




A minimum of an Associates degree and a minimum of ten years of relevant medical device experience or equivalent is required. The individual will be required to have demonstrated a cross section of medical device prototyping where they have built units from concept to commercialization. Experience in medical device product performance testing and evaluation is required. Familiar with GLP and maintaining laboratory notebooks is required. Balloon catheter and/or stent delivery systems experience is a plus. Model shop experience is also a plus.
