The Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems (SRS) group in Chelmsford Massachusetts has been developing technology to produce the imagery products needed for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) for over 40 years. Formerly known as Itek Optical, renowned for its breakthroughs in optical technology, SRS today, designs and manufactures the world's highest performance cameras and ground stations for capturing and interpreting reconnaissance and surveillance data for domestic and international military and commercial enterprises in today's interconnected global marketplace.

The employees of SRS in Chelmsford, design, develop and produce state-of-the-art sensors for day, night, and multi spectral image capture, along with the ground exploitation and data handling systems to effectively utilize the imagery products. Dedicated field support teams are in place throughout the world to provide operational and maintenance support of Goodrich surveillance and reconnaissance systems.

This position is for an Image Analyst experienced with the evaluation and processing of Electro-Optical imagery. Applicant must have hands-on experience with Electro-Optical reconnaissance systems. This experience should include EO visible and IR high performance analysis, LOROP Cameras, and AF DCGS (Air Force Distributed Common Ground Systems). Position is for in-plant support in Chelmsford, MA with periodic travel to CONUS and International Sites.



Job Description:


As a senior image analyst with our reconnaissance division your primary responsibilities will be supporting imagery analysis of the deployed SYERS-2 EO/MSI systems, systems undergoing flight testing as well as new sensor development activities. These primary responsibilities will include supporting activities such as qualification flight test support, operational image analysis, IMINT/MASINT utility assessment using operational & flight test imagery, exploitation tools development support, NIIRS rating, development of training packages & performing training at DCGS locations, and support to ground segment software test efforts.


Job requirements may include periodic travel to provide flight test support at the Beale, CA or Palmdale, CA test locations, to include image screening, imagery database management support, NIIRS rating, image chain performance analysis, support to target identification and mission planning as needed.

Additional Desirable Skills:


Imagery Analysis: Operational exploitation experience with National (NTM) and Tactical systems to include EO/MSI/SAR, MASINT production experience, All-source intelligence,



Computer Skills: Operational experience with various Electronic Light Tables (ELT), HTML, Microsoft PowerPoint, Shell Scripting, Basic system administration (UNIX, PC)


This position requires an individual who can work in a dynamic environment with our Engineering Staff, Field Service Staff (CFSRs) and Business Development Staff as needed.

Must have hands-on Image Analysis experience in a Command System environment. This includes the TPED process, EO imaging, exploitation techniques, experience in/with the AF DCGS, mission planning, TES, CIP.

A strong reconnaissance systems and/or military background preferred. Should have a ASEE degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years experience (or military and seven level).

Security Clearances: must be U.S. Citizen, must have TS/SSBI/SCI.
