Job Requirements:
An Associates degree in a technical discipline with 6 years relevant experience or HS diploma with 8-10 years experience. Specialized industry related experience should include working knowledge of food processing equipment for cereal, convenience foods, and frozen foods. Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office suites and Autocad 2D preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work. Performs work involving conventional engineering practice.Understand all necessary design standards and procedures used to produce 2D drawings suitable as construction documents. Includes all necessary industry layout practices, installation practices, a working knowledge of most system components and equipment. Able to adapt existing or develop new standards or practices where none are available for new work. Prepare advanced difficulty scaled engineering drawings from design information or engineering data with less than 5% design rework required.Understand drawing and design practices necessary to meet the industry specific requirements of our clients possessing sufficient working knowledge of these practices to incorporate them into work performed.Provide technical support, conceptualize designs, perform design studies and participate in project planning.General understanding of structural decks, miscellaneous supports, fines collection, plumbing, machine location, equipment layout, sheet metal, pneumatics, fabricated equipment, Process Flow Diagrams. Plan, schedule, coordinate mechanical design and support installation and checkout.
