Sr. Product Design Engineer

We are a growing, profitable subsidiary of Steelcase, Inc. (world?s largest manufacturer of office furniture systems and related products) located in suburban Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Our products range from electrically-adjustable tables and various ergonomic work tools to task lighting products and organizational accessories. We seek an individual to work with our engineers, mechanical designers, suppliers, marketing and industrial designers performing complex engineering assignments in the creation, development and/or improvement of our innovative product designs.  The individual will work in a highly interactive cross functional team environment and must be able to execute all engineering and computer skills associated with a product from concept to launch and life cycle management. We require the minimum of a Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8 years of experience.
