Sr. QA Software Engineer

As a member of the Quality Assurance group, you will work closely with product management and development, review functional, marketing and design specifications, participate in product design discussions and assure that quality is inherent to the design.  You will apply basic engineering principles and software coding to develop tools, methods and procedures to improve and maintain product quality standards. Write test specifications, create and maintain automated test code and scripts, evaluate quality risk for product changes and fixes and propose test plans to address and assure quality and customer satisfaction.  Become expert in Control4 home automation including audio/video routing. Duties and tasks are varied and complex requiring independent judgment.  Fully competent in own area of expertise.  May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.

 

BS/MS in CS or CE, Self-motivated with strong ability to learn quickly and work independently.  Good written and verbal communication skills.  Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.  Expert in object oriented design and coding skills. C#, C++, soap, xml, Linux, windows.  Team player, can-do attitude, attention to detail. Minimum 6 years software engineering or related experience required. Hands on, proactive and self-motivated.
