ScreenOS is the system software suite that powers the award winning Juniper/NetScreen
Firewall/VPN security appliances. A key component in ScreenOS is the Packet Processing
module, which processes packet flows based on the security policies and system
configuration set by the users. To support the richest feature set and meeting the most
demanding performance goal, the design and development of this component offers the most
challenging and rewarding opportunity in your career.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test software module that processes packet flows.
- Involve in system/ASIC design for accelerating packet processing.
- Participate in overall system design for supporting new features.
- Work with customer support engineers to resolve customer issues.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of real-time networking embedded system development and
device driver experience. Need to familiar with managing devices
using various low level system supports for DMA, memory management
and handling device interrupts.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and related networking protocols.
- L2/L3 switching/routing technologies,
- Familiar with NAT, protocol inspection, firewall, IPSec, and various VPN technologies.
- Fluent in C programming and assembly level debugging.
