About the Position:

Kronos Engineering seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the sustaining engineering team for the Workforce Central product suite. This team provides critical development support for Workforce applications as an integral function of the wider engineering group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your systems-wide (Web n-tier) expertise to diagnose and correct complex application issues in a timely fashion. You will work with fellow developers who share a passion to apply all of their acquired development skills to solve real-world challenges. You will apply your technical and people skills to resolve issues across the product. In summary, you will have a unique opportunity to leverage all of your acquired development skills in this important role for Kronos.

Required (unless noted otherwise):
>7 years enterprise/systems software development, >3 years in Web-based implementations, >3 years Java design experience, XML, applet and HTML development in various Web server environments. JBoss and other J2EE Application Server experience preferred. BSCS/BSEE minimum. Systems comprehension and experience (n-tier, API, platform architecture) in Windows (required) and UNIX (preferred). Experienced debugger and troubleshooter across the system. Understanding of database functionality (Oracle, SQL Server), including experience with SQL scripts and scripting. Ability to prioritize work under varying conditions, continually discerning what is urgent versus important.
