We have the following exciting new opportunity in
Stafford, Virginia.

OSEC is searching for Sr. Systems Engineer for the following responsibilities:

. Support the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Product Group 11 (MC2I) Strategic Business Team (SBT) Lead Engineer with the strategic planning, architecture development, and other engineering and acquisition tasks relevant to the migration of legacy C2, air defense weapons, and sensor systems to the MAGTF C2 architecture and baseline.
. Support the PG 11 Technical director at high-level architecture, software, hardware, and data structure working groups.
. Interact with the Marine Corps Combat Development Command to ensure operational/technical requirement compliance.
. Interact with U.S. Army Ground C2/Future Combat Systems project personnel to ensure proper Army/Marine Corps commonality.
. Assist the Technical Director in coordination/support with other Product Group Directorate representatives to ensure execution of tasks.
. Responsible for review/comment of required engineering and acquisition documents (Systems Engineering Management Plan, Acquisition Strategy, etc).
. Support coordination and assessment of requirements and capabilities, assist with program integration, risk management, and market surveys/studies, and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) activities.
. Provide subject matter expertise while conducting investigations and studies and presenting recommendations and solutions related to short and long-range program planning requirements.
. Provide advice and assistance to project officers that directly affect the conduct and attainment of programs goals and objectives.
. Participate at IPTs, technical exchange, IPRs, and other related meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

. Understanding of USMC C4I Systems and how they interoperate.
. Familiarity with MAGTF C2 and other Service C4 systems/concepts including JBMC2, JC2, ForceNet, WIN-T, FCS, Land WarNet, C2 Constellation.
. Experience with Joint/OSD initiatives such as NECC, NCOW-RM, and JTIC.
. Experience with DoD Architecture Framework and JCIDS Procedures.
. Experience with Ground and Air Command and Control, Intelligence, and Fires systems, policies, and procedures.
. Experience with DoD 5000 series and Federal Acquisition Regulation and Processes.
. Ability to work independently, as well as part of an integrated program team (IPT).
. Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
. Bachelors in a technical discipline and 5 to 7 years of experience in management and systems implementation or an equivalent combination of training and professional work experience.

Desired Qualifications:

. A Defense Acquisition Workforce Level III certification on Systems Engineering, Program Management, or related career field is desired.
. Prior USMC experience a plus.
