Sr. Transportation Manager

Berryman and Henigar, a consulting engineer firm and a Bureau Veritas company is currently seeking a Sr. Transportation Manager for the San Diego area.

 

 

Job Summary:

 

Responsible for the design and/or management of the planning and design of transportation for roadway, highway and freeway projects.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Preparation of design plans for roadway alignments, grading, drainage, NPDES, utilities Develop and manage transportation design projects and traffic studies Preparation of accurate plans and engineering calculations Project liaison including the client, sub-consultants and multi-agency coordination Familiarity with broad scope of transportation design and administrative software Assist with the development of proposals, project presentations and negotiate contracts Assist in marketing and client development Strategic leadership and management Recruitment of quality staff; resource allocation and staff training Create and maintain relationships to large accounts by regular visits Ensure implementation of program roll-outs

 

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK REQUIREMENTS:

 A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineering Certification (PE) AutoCAD, Caltrans Standards 5-8 years of transportation design experience Strong management skills Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
