Skills and Experience required for this position:

?  BSEE required and MS/PhD preferred.

?  5+ years experience of practical experience with wireless communications systems integration, testing, and certification.

?  Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

?  Must have the ability to work and represent our company in standard development communities, e.g., WiMAX forum, 802.16.

?  Must have excellent lab skills and will be prepared to participate in debug, system integration, and system test.

?  Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, VSAs, digital multi-meters, etc.

?  Experience with deployment, field testing, and FCC & regulatory compliance issues a plus.

?  Familiar with SW, communications systems, digital HW, FPGAs, test, and configuration management.

?  Position requires this candidate to be organized, self-motivated, a solid team player, and technical contributor.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

?  System Integration, Test, and Certification activities of our WiMAX based wireless broadband voice and data systems.

?  Participate in WiMAX forum 802.16e testing/certification related development and activities.

?  Standards body submissions and synchronization with internal requirements and Test plans/procedures and field trial support. 

?  Assist development teams with integration/test/validation/certification strategies and execution. 

?  Work closely with the systems, marketing, and business development departments to provide the best paths/strategies for our WiMAX based wireless broadband products to pass the mobile WiMAX certification process.
