The QA Staff Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing quality programs that comply with all applicable requirements in the Least Waste Way. Duties include drafting/maintaining QA plans, developing quality procedures, performing quality reviews of engineering drawings, interfacing with customer/supplier QA functions (in writing, orally and through formal presentations), and collaboratively participating in cross-functional activities to support Lean Product Development.

Bachelor's degree (engineering, business or mathematics) and 10+ years experience in applicable Quality Assurance functions with specific experience in the transition from Product Development to Production Operations. Direct knowledge of measurement systems, statistical methods (Six Sigma), tooling, production processes is desired along with a strong background in the application of Lean principles. EOE M/F/D/V
