Skills and Experience required for this position:

?  BS or MS (Computer Eng., E.E., or CompSci)

?  Minimum 5 years of experience with HW or SW development and verification of wireless communication devices.

?  Full cycle of software/hardware development including detailed analysis, design, implementation, debugging and developer testing.

?  Lab experience with test equipment including oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, and protocol analyzer.

?  Experience with writing software in C/C++, Perl, Python, or Java.

?  Some experience with Linux/Unix OS.

?  Experience with test automation.

?  Familiar with one or more datacom/telecom protocols preferred.

?  Integration and test experience with HW and SW devices desirable.

?  Experience leading a small development team from start to finish a plus. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

?  The base station load test lead engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, test and debugging of a WiMAX base station load tester. 

?  This internal test platform will combine many WiMAX mobile stations using an RF splitter/combiner/attenuator matrix to stress test a WiMAX base station using test automation scripts. 

?  The engineer will also participate in test case automation. 

?  This engineer will be working in a cross-functional team environment with significant interaction with other test engineers, software developers, hardware engineers, and systems engineers.
