Structural Lead Designer

Job Description:

A Lead Designer is needed to startup and support a plant engineering modifications group for Detroit Edison's Fossil Generation Division. He/she will lead a group responsible for the Structural design associated with Detroit Edison's Capital Projects program. This program represents an annual spend of approximate $120 million annually. This individual will lead a staff of Structural designers that will prepare detailed design documents for capital improvements to Detroit Edison's fossil fleet of approximately 24 coal fire units at seven stations located in southeat Michigan. This is a long term assignment.

 

Job Requirements:

Lead Designer with experience in fossil power plant equipment and plant modifications. Microstation 2D experience.
