Job Description
Candidate should have a clear understanding and experience in the strength, stability, and durability analysis pertaining to large aircraft structure.
The candidate should also have a working knowledge of damage tolerance/fracture mechanics, design allowable development, finite element modeling, and design criteria development.
Familiarity with the design and/or analysis of advanced composite materials is desirable, but not required.

The person in this position will develop strength check notes, prepare formal analysis reports, review drawings, and disposition shop rejection tags.
Out of plant travel may be required to support program needs.
NASTRAN and PATRAN would be considered a major plus Placement on specific programs will be commensurate with applicable experience.REQUIREMENTSKnowledge, Skills, Abilities

Education Required / Desired: Education Must have an Engineering BS degree in Civil, Structures, Mechanical or Aerospace. Preference is given for graduation from an ABET accredited school. Advanced Engineering degrees also accepted.

Only experienced level positions are available.
Must have a minimum of minimum of four years experience with stress analysis as used in large aircraft design, good communication skills, the ability to effectively work in a team environment and have good PC computing skills.
