Structural Analysis Lead - ABL, Project Engineer Senior E/S

ABL Lead Structural Analyst position requires an individual experienced in structural analysis of metallic and composite structures. The successful candidate must lead and provide direction to a team of structural analysts and ensure that technical, cost, and schedule requirements are met. Job details include support for internal drawing release and external drawing reviews, disposition of Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and verification documentation for flight hardware. Desired skills include the application of classical stress analysis, fatigue and crack growth analysis, finite element modeling (FEM) and analysis, and thermal stress analysis. The ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers is essential. Desired experience includes familiarity with NASTRAN, PATRAN, MATHCAD and ASME B31.3. Knowledge of space applications is desired. A Bachelor-of-Science Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering and a minimum of 15 years experience in structural analysis is required. Previous experience with Laser Systems is preferred. DOD Secret Security Clearance required. Ability to obtain SSBI is preferred. Grade B10/B11 depending upon experience.


Demonstrated strong structural engineering skills in analysis, NASTRAN, PATRAN. Requires BS in Engineering (ME, CE, AE) and 15 years experience in leading analysis teams on spacecraft or optomechanical structures. Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
