Structural Engineer

Conshohocken, PA

 

Job Requirements:

 

Bachelor's or Graduate degree in either Structural or Civil engineering discipline, EIT preferred. Requires a minimum of 5-10 years  experience supporting  BioPharma or Pharmaceutical structural design projects. Prior related experience should include: project coordination, site survey, quality assurance, construction observation and support. Proficiency utilizing Microstation  to prepare or revise site plans, profiles, and cross sections. Experience with structural engineering software programs such as  Ram Steel, STAAD or RISA, a plus.

 

Job Responsibilities:

? Responsible for the preparation of design calculations and sketches for structural steel, concrete, and masonry engineering designs for new & existing buildings

? Significant design work includes: stainless steel super-skids, precast/prestressed concrete panels, drilled pier foundations, large vessel supports, clean room environment retrofits, platforming, monorails, hoists etc.

? Conceptualization of original designs and design studies utilizing MicroStation

? Prepare or revise site plans,  profiles, and cross sections
