Job Description: *Structural Project Engineer. Makes significant design decisions in cooperation with Project Managers on assigned projects.  May be responsible for assisting with marketing, business development, project management and client communication on a limited and assigned basis.  Assigns and manages structural engineering tasks and schedules to Staff Engineers and project team members.  Independently completes engineering tasks within federal, state and local established criteria.  Recommends and prepares change orders for the project managers.  Responds to contractor questions and issues and prepares and issues project addenda as needed.  Signs and seals civil and structural engineering documents as an authorized representative of the company.  Independently communicates on technical matters with the client.  Regularly monitors and reports on civil and structural design progress and assures quality engineering standards are met. 



Qualifications: *Required: A BS degree in Civil Engineering and be professionally registered (P.E.) or have the ability to obtain such registration within six months of employment.  Must have water wastewater treatment plant design experience.  Excellent written and oral communication skills.  Must have advanced knowledge of office automation, CADD and engineering automation tools.
