Structural Project Manager

Baltimore, MD

 

Job Requirements:

 

Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Civil engineering discipline. PE license, required. Requires 10- 15 years minimum experience managing all aspects of highway design projects including bridges, retaining walls, noise walls and foundations. Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills required. Project management and leadership experience providing direction to staff and subconsultants is highly desirable; transit experience, a plus. Maryland's SHA experience, required and proficiency utilizing Microstation and/or AutoCAD, a plus. NBIS Certification,a plus.

 

Job Responsibilities:

? Develop and provide oversight for design and inspection of transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls, culverts, foundations and other structures for highway and transit projects

? Develop and provide oversight for the preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates

? Prepare engineering reports and provide financial management for design projects.

? Occasionally perform field work including bridge inspections assisting with leadership and direction of the structural department staff

? Work on multiple simultaneous projects/contracts and assist with marketing activities including preparation of proposals and presentations
