A leading consulting engineering firm headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, providing engineering, management, and technical services to industry throughout the United States is seeking a Structural Engineer.
Job Description:
This Structural Engineer position will be designing and providing analysis for projects relating to concrete foundations and all other aspects of building structure. The Structural Engineer should have excellent knowledge and experience in the qualifications below.
Structural Engineer job requirements:
Structural engineer with 7+ years experience in the design and/or analysis of concrete foundations, walls, beams and slabs and steel support structures including rigid frames, platforms, and beams. Working knowledge of other material designs a plus including timber, masonry and fiberglass reinforced plastic. Exposure to telecommunications structures and designs a plus. Candidate must possess a minimum E.I.T. status. Experience should include inspection, structural design/analysis, familiarity with structural finite-element programs, use of the International, BOCA, AISC, AWS and ACI codes, use of the OSHA regulations, construction cost estimating, contract document preparation, specification development and client interface. Candidate must have good oral and written skills with the ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to use/work in Autocad a plus.
