Super. Field Subcontract Administration

Minimum of 8 years of subcontract administration experience in a DOE environment with substantial knowledge of Government procurement regulations, policies and procedures.

 

Administer the construction subcontracts at the Project Site in order to ensure compliance with subcontract terms and conditions and schedule and cost objectives.

 

Major activities include:

1. Prepares and negotiates additions and deletions to the subcontracts as required.

2. Initiates and controls documentation and correspondence of a contractual nature to and from the contractor.

3. Initiates and controls all contract changes including obtaining approvals and negotiating price and schedule impacts.

4. Monitors the financial progress of the project in order that areas of exposure can be recognized and corrective action taken, including those of disputed payments.

5. Advises the Construction Management on risk and liability matters regarding subcontractor performance.

6. Monitors the performance of the subcontractors to insure compliance with contractual commitments and that schedule and cost impact are recognized and appropriate action taken.

7. Maintains a list of open items per contract to insure that all items and all changes are complete prior to payment to the contractor.

8. Performs contract closeout including negotiations of claims as necessary.
