Job Responsibilities: 

Responsible for analytical modeling, business analysis, development, and implementation of supply chain process and system improvements at Xilinx as a member of the Supply Chain Architecture group.  Responsible for providing expertise and driving cross-functional projects in areas such as forecasting, manufacturing planning, inventory management, production planning, distribution, delivery, and customer service.

 

Job Qualifications:

Required:

? Strong analytical skills, including statistics and operations research, combined with practical business acumen

? Established supply chain expertise

? Skills and experience in production planning, forecasting, and inventory management

? Ability to assess business challenges, perform analysis to determine causes, formulate solutions, and implement changes in the organization

? Ability to work with IT groups on development and review of system requirements

? Ability to work well with functional groups within Operations, Sales, Marketing, and IT

? Ability to drive change and work in an unstructured environment

? Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

 

Desired:

? MS or PhD in industrial engineering, operations research, or related field

? Experience with the semiconductor industry or high-tech manufacturers utilizing semiconductor components

? Project management experience and skills

? Experience with database query language (SQL)
