Survey Manager

We are looking for an experienced Survey Manager to coordinate and manage projects from start to finish.

 

?  Successful candidate will manage projects with clients and provide direct supervision of research, computation, field work and drafting.

 

?  Candidate will also perform calculations on various projects utilizing AutoCAD, and prepare topographical maps, subdivision plats, legal descriptions and construction staking.

 

?  This employee will generally work 50% of the time in the office and 50% of the time in the field. 

 

?  Candidate must have knowledge of permitting requirements, licensing, and platting procedures, and residential, commercial, industrial, transportation or other land use experience is preferred. 

 

?  Candidate will stamp and sign surveys, plats and all other legal documents, prepared under their direction. 

 

?  This position will be responsible for planning and directing surveys as wells as participating in survey parties to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, map making, land division, titles, mining or other purposes. 

 

?  Candidate will need experience with researching previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys and keep accurate notes, records and sketches to describe and certify work performed.

 

?  Candidate must have an Idaho PLS or be willing and able to gain reciprocity. 

 

?  A minimum of 5 years experience in land development and transportation related experience is desired. 

 

?  The right person should possess proven Project Leadership Skills with prior business development experience. 

 

?  Experience with Inroads, AutoCAD, and Land Development Desktop (LDD) is  also preferred.
