Surveyor - Survey Project Manager

Global Engineering Services, Inc. is an engineering firm of approximately 450 personnel that operates worldwide.  We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a licensed surveyor to serve as Survey Project Manager and then transition to leadership of the survey department within one to two years.  This position is located in Reno, NV.  We also have opportunities for licensed surveyors throughout Florida.  For the position in Reno, the candidate must be capable and willing to obtain their Nevada license within one year of the hire date.  For positions in Florida, an existing Florida PSM is required. 

Relocation assistance is available.  Minimum qualifications include the following:AS or higher degree in engineering or a related discipline Current licensure Relevant survey project experience:  for the Reno position this is focused predominantly on commercial and residential (subdivision) development; for the Florida positions this includes an array of commercial and residential development, highway/roadway design and construction; and water/wastewater/stormwater systems including linear piping. Experience with Parcel Maps, Records of Surveys, Boundary Line Adjustments, Tract Maps, Legal Exhibits, Legal Descriptions, Topographic Maps, and ALTA Surveys utilizing AutoCAD and Softdesk Software Construction staking experience Field surveying experience with GPS and Robotic Total Stations a plus Proficiency with AutoCAD and related programs Client interface experience Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Budget and schedule control skills Proposal preparation skills Strong work ethic
