System/Design Engineer

PPP is pleased to announce employment opportunities in the field of System/Design Engineering.  Job location is in our Irvine, California facility.  We are looking for self-motivated designers who are capable of working in a small team atmosphere.  Engineers at PPP have the opportunity to coordinate their design projects with all company departments. 

 

These openings require an understanding of oxygen or similar systems and the ability to work in SolidWorks, interact daily with customers, multi-task, and manage product roll-out deadlines.  The positions will entail the definition of complete systems, along with the design of mechanical and electro-mechanical components such as valves, pressure regulators, cockpit control panels, enclosures, and other assemblies and Systems related to aerospace.  A minimum of 3 years experience with pneumatic components/systems is required along with proven skills in designing creative and reliable products.  Additional design activities will include reading lights and air vents for aviation use.  Must possess the ability to discuss all technical issues with customers and interface on daily basis with production, sales administration and quality.  Ideally, be familiar with the aviation industry, FAA FAR safety regulations, RTCA DO160 environment and PMA approval process.
