Are you a Systems Engineer with 5-7 years of experience, a good personality and 

semi-conductor experience ... and and you're looking for a change? This is the job for

you! We'll introduce you to the fast-paced marketing side of the business with high exposure

 to Tier 1 customers.

 

PURPOSE:

 

Provide technical support for Intellon?s standard products.  Responsible for pre-sales and post-sales

technical support to customers. Provide feedback to business units on customer product

requirements and programs.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

? Assists Sales team in their efforts to secure new business.

? Supports customers during design, testing, and debugging phases of their product development.

? Provides technical training to customers, resellers and distributors as well as internal sales staff.

? Authors application notes and articles.

? Supports evaluation and reference platforms for Intellon?s integrated circuits.

? Participates in industry groups critical to Intellon?s core business.

? Assists the company in any necessary duties to achieve company goals.

? Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

SKILLS NEEDED:

 

? Relies on specific experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

? Familiarity with PC, Communications, and/or Consumer products. 

? Must possess good analytical and system troubleshooting skills.

? System board design experience is highly desirable.

? Knowledge of standard industry interfaces (e.g. MII, USB, PCI, Ethernet)

? Must have ability to learn a variety of software programs including PC based drivers

and application programs.

? Must be able to present moderate to highly technical materials to diverse audiences. 

? Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate in Korean,

Japanese or Chinese desirable

? Ability to travel frequently/as needed.

 

Education:

 

? B.S. or B.A. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience is

required. Masters Degree preferred.

 

Experience:

 

? Minimum of 5-7 years of direct applications or factory applications experience supporting

customers with semiconductor based standard products preferred.
