Systems Bid Coordinator

Description: The primary function of this position is the preparation of Major Subsea System Project Tenders from a technical and commercial perspective, taking responsibility for providing a proposal which addresses the client's requirements and considers the market environment while optimising profitability and the chance of success for the Company.

Candidate will participate in pre-tender discussions and co-ordinate pre-tender activities such as generating pre-qualification documents and providing budgetary quotations for prospective system developments with the implicit aim of qualifying the company for formal tender invitation.

During the technical and commercial clarifications, that follow the tender submittal, the Bid Coordinator has responsibility for maintaining the log of clarification communications to/from the customer, and liaising with all internal and third parties to ensure responses are provided in a timely manner and are complete with any commercial impacts fully detailed.

Qualifications:
Understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and Adobe Acrobat, plus mainframe operating systems including SAP. The holder should be competent in migrating to new software and software versions as the business requires.

Developed interpersonal and communication skills are required to obtain the best results from the local and global bid project team and from the internal departments providing supporting information or "deliverables" for the Tender.
