Systems Engineer Senior E/S

Lead the payload engineering aspects of the development of the TSAT offer. Work closely with the prime, LM, in defining and descriving the winning payload. Requires the right business development perspective--able to understand our strategy and help turn it into payload specifics, able to tell the story about why this is the right solution. U.S. Citizenship required. DoD Secret Security Clearance Required.


Must be capable of providing technical expertise and leadership in one or more of the following areas: spaceborne payload systems engineering design, communication systems, laser/optical communication systems, antenna systems design, RF and digital systems design, baseband and digital signal processing, modulation theory, signal detection and estimation, and synchronization theory. Strong team leadership and communication skills a must. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with >10 years experience required; MSEE or PhD in communications theory or DSP preferred. U.S. Citizenship/Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance is required. Employment contingent upon successfully obtaining and/or transferring clearance.
