Job Description:

Responsible for performing scientific analysis on a variety of remotely sensed data types.

Presents oral and written reports on analysis.

Communicates remote sensing capabilities and related phenomenology to a diverse audience, including individuals that do not possess a strong technical background.

Qualifications:

Requires a Masters degree in Physics, EE, Math/Statistics, Earth Science or a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience in remote sensing and/or geo-spatial analysis; however, a PhD in a related field is preferred.

Must possess knowledge or training in one or more of the following:

ERDAS, ENVI, Remote View, Matrix, CASE Exec, IMX, REX, or equivalent; GIAT systems integration, various sensor phenomenology, scientific engineering tools and techniques, and exploitation tools;

Development and use of prototype capabilities, conducting utility assessments and technology insertions;

Basic spectral systems and platforms, operations, phenomenology, impact on spectral processing, analysis, and IR or spectral AGI analysis;

Basic SAR AGI systems and platforms, operations, phenomenology, processing, analysis and exploitation, SAR AGI analysis;

Transfer or insertions of technology under configuration management practices, conduct hardware and software integration, diagnostic tools and processes, and modification of program code to resolve problems;

Application of GIS tools, techniques and processes to the exploitation and analysis of data.

Experience:

This position requires a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
