Systems Engineering

ARES Corporation, a world leader in Project Management and Safety and Mission Assurance, is seeking to grow its Systems Engineering capabilities. ARES currently has Systems Engineering positions available on a variety of aerospace contracts, such as the NASA International Space Station Program Integration and Control (PI&C) Contract.

Additionally, ARES is pre-screening applicants for potential Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV) positions in Southern California and Houston, Texas. The CEV represents one building block in a future exploration architecture that can send astronauts to the moon and form the basis for exploration missions to other destinations. The contract award decision is expected in early September 2006.

ARES is soliciting resumes for Systems Engineers at all levels, for positions in Southern California and Houston, Texas, with a combination of the following skills:

Position Requirements:
-Experience with a structured systems engineering approach to requirements development and verification
-Experience with CRADLE or CORE for systems modeling and requirements management (or proved ability to work within a modeling/simulation or database environment)
-Experience with developing systems verification requirements and systems level test requirements and plans
-Experience with using quantitative and stochastic methods and multi-variant decision analysis tools
-Experience in performing trade studies and analysis for complex systems
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Problem solving and teamwork skills
-Must be a team player with a strong customer service focus ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:A degree in engineering, math, or physics is preferred. U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident Alien status is required upon offer of employment.
