 Systems engineer - gasoline OBD

 Automotive Systems Engineering - Advanced Systems Engineering for New Feature Development in Automotive Applications (OBD-II)

 Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations 

 Candidate will contribute to all phases of the systems product cycle for engine management systems involving OBD-II, including modeling, algorithm development, testing, debug, calibration and launch support.

Candidate will support the system design needs of the advanced product group by designing and developing engine control system and diagnostic components as required.

The candidate must be a motivated self starter with the desire to take ownership of their particular area; looking for a challenging environment and the opportunity to demonstrate their skills.

The candidate must be a team player, able to interface with different parts of the organization. The candidate must have strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

 Specific Knowledge/Skills 

 -Candidate must have experience in designing and testing embedded automotive control systems, particularly engine controls and OBD-II.

-This includes the capture and written description of control system requirements - internal, customer, regulatory.

-Minimum Bachelor of Science - Engineering.

-Extensive knowledge of the MatLab/Simulink Modeling Environment.

-C code experience a plus for the integration testing of developed products.

-Product Launch experience a plus

-Knowledge of gasoline OBD-II and experience with OBD compliance issues a plus

- Bachelors degree in Engineering required, Masters preferred.   5 years of work experience preferred
