131380 – Senior NSS Engineer

Join a team that will determine Core Network architecture and new service directions and create design strategies that ensure optimum fit within the network. This role will contribute to T-Mobile's success by...

- Work with cross-functional teams to implement and support company initiatives
- Develop quarterly and yearly individual and team goals that support the company objectives for the year
- Write RFPs/RFIs/RFQs for new technology and evaluate responses, present recommendations to peers and executive team
- Determine and create designs to achieve optimum network fit and integration
- Analyze and provide input on Product Development and Network Evolution and Strategy initiatives for all Core Network Elements
- Work with vendors to drive Core Network architecture changes and evolution
- Document design, technical capabilities, capacities, limitations, interfaces
- Transition new services, technology software/hardware to CN Systems/IN/SS7 Engineering

Qualifications
- A successful individual for this role will possess...
- 4 year technical degree or equivalent experience
- 4-5 years GSM wireless technology experience
- Exposure to MAP, SS7, CS1, CAP industry protocols
- Knowledge of IP protocols
- Experience with MSC/SSP, STP, HLR, Prepaid, IN technologies
- Knowledge of IT systems and their integration into the wireless network
- Experience with downstream billing validation and process
