Tooling/Project Engineer

 We have this immediate opportunity to join our Engineering Department. Our focus is on Lean manufacturing techniques, producing top quality products in the most efficient and economical manner possible.

 

As Tooling Project Engineer, you take the lead in the design of and manage the fabrication of tooling and fixturing. This position works closely with and reports to the Technical QA Manager.

 

Other important job duties include a strong focus on process improvement.  You will spend the time necessary for the tracking and reporting of performance related to time and waste reduction.  You will be working in a hands-on, team oriented manner, interfacing with other departments for input into process improvement.  You will also work closely with production, introducing and training on the implementation of new processes.

Requirements:Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Metal Stamping background required, heat treating experience preferred.5-7 years experience in manufacturing, tool design and fabrication.High proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD or Solid Works.Exceptional problem solving skills.Project Management skills.Working knowledge of ISO.
