Installation Kit Designer
Electrical/mechanical engineer (dual experence desirable) with skills and experience to design electrical cables, power distribution boxes, and tray, racks and shelves to support electronics. Shock isolation will often be required using springs or silicon isolators. Familiarity with Mil drawings will be rquired to review and approve CAD drawings built to Designer's design. Knowledge of coatings for connectors and metal parts is very desirable. Also pracical knowledge of cable components (connectors, backshells, boots, jacket material) for use in a military enviroment is desirable. Designer can draw support as necessary but must provide lead role.
