Technical Operations Manager

PCB Piezotronics, a growing world leader in the manufacture of sensors for test and measurement applications, has an immediate opening for a Technical Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee all production activities for engineering and development in our vibration and accelerometer production line.

 

Reporting to the division engineering manager, primary responsibilities include: management of continuous improvement projects; preparation of long-term strategic plans on process improvements and capacity planning; resolution of production output and quality problems; development and launch of new products, coordination of personnel scheduling issues; and day to day production activities such as personnel supervision, floor prioritization, etc.  The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, 7 to 10 years experience in production operations and technical engineering with some supervisory responsibilities.  A background in implementing six sigma, 5s, lean manufacturing, formal training in problem solving/design of expeiments and continuous improvement initiatives is required.
